Coach Gary Wood
Coach Gary Wood has been coaching volleyball for 23 years
including CSAA and
club volleyball. This is his11th year with Thunder. He has been a
volleyball
player for 25 years. Gary has contributed much to volleyball in this area through
coaching, refereeing, and club volleyball. Gary is married and has two children and
5 grand children
Coach Amanda Miles
Amanda Hickerson is in her 9th year of coaching for Thunder.
Amanda
also played 3 years for Thunder. She is married and works full time.
She has earned
our respect and admiration for her hard work and dedication.

Coach Sherry Ashley
Sherry is the middle school coach at Whitefield Academy.
She played volleyball
for Presentation Academy
and volunteered her time to help others learn the game
at Most Blessed Sacrament.
She has been married for 24 years to Philip and has
a daughter, Kalyn, who played with Thunder
Sherry works for UPS. Welcome Coach
Sherry for her 7th year with Thunder.
Assistant Coach Kalyn Ashley
Kalyn is a sophomore at Spalding University studying Elementary Ed.
Kalyn played
7 years with Thunder and we welcome her
back for her third year as an assistant.
Coach Mark Bramer
Mark is in his 6th year of coaching for Thunder.
Mark has 19 years of coaching
experience, with many years
at Moore H.S. as head coach. Currently JV coach at
PRP.
He has two children. Mark is a teacher at PRP.
Coach Abigail Davis and Coach Holly Gallagher
Abigail and Holly have teamed up to
coach the 13 year old team this year.
Both have years of club volleyball
experience and we are pleased to have them
back in a coaching position.
Abigail is an Uof L student and Holly is a JCTC student
both
studying Elementary Ed.
